Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research admission 2012. Last date March 19

Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) invites applications for admission to the programme M.Sc. Economics and M.Phil/PhD in Developmental Studies.
Eligibility: For MSc Economics Minimum qualification: B.A./B.Sc. in Economics/B.Com./B.Stat./B.Sc. (Physics or mathematics)/B.Tech./B.E. with at least a second division for Economics discipline and first division for other disciplines. The applicant must have studied mathematics at the higher secondary level or should be able to demonstrate equivalent mathematical ability. For M.Phil/PhD candidates must have Masters Degree in relevant discipline.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a written test and an interview. The written test emphasizes general aptitude, analytical ability and mathematical skills. The test will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 16 centers including Trivandrum. Based on the performance in the written test, short listed candidates will be called for an interview at IGIDR around the last week of June 2012.
Online Admissions: Candidates can fill the application form online. The website link for admission is www.igidr.ac.in The application fee for the candidates applying online is Rs. 300/- and for offline is Rs. 500/- The last date for receiving the completed application form is March 19
